NEW Brooch additions to this page 1/28/07.  Collage
Brooches are just fun and creative.  There are a dozen new
ones added to this page.  If you would like a necklace made to
match one, most are fashioned with a jump ring to wear as a
pendant, just drop me a note with your requirements.  There
are others, on the "Vintage Signed Pieces" page.

Vintage style crescent brooch, safety bar back pin, is 3" in
diameter with forest green and clear rhinestone accents.  Gold
tone filigree style with a jade heart charm.

About the collage

(if they are
necklaces) are new.  
The pin backs are
featured as insets on
each photo.  All the
collage pieces
(mostly earrings)
have been acquired
from antique dealers
in lots, due to their
disrepair.  I sanitize
and remove all parts
that could cause
harm and otherwise
salvage these bits of
nostalgia, that
probably would
have been
discarded, and
create collages that
can be worn as
brooches/pendants.
I do not totally
cover the filigrees
because, not only
will the brooch be
extremely heavy but
the vintage style
filigrees are so pretty
that you would not
be able to see them.
I use a very strong
glue and have been
making them like
this for 4 years now
and have never had
one not hold
together. Some of the
brooches have
necklace chains
already on them,
which are vintage
pieces as well.  If
you wish, I will try
to make a brooch a
pendant, by putting
a jump ring on it, or
if you would like a  
necklace in a
complimenting color
or material.... just
drop me a note via
the contact page.
Gold tone vintage style filigree back, with vintage faux pearls, silver
tone spirals in shades of cream, gold tone accents and two sweet
white and pink ceramic roses.  This brooch, I would not attempt to
make into a pendant, there isn't a spot for a jump ring.
Measures 1 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide.

Antique gold tone vintage scroll filigree with faux white pearls and
gold tone accents.  The pearls are firmly fixed but still move freely
on the brooch, because they are on individual chains.  A touch of
rhinestone color arches at the top.  Measures 2 1/4" wide x 2 1/2"
long.  This brooch can not be made into a pendant.

Silver tone ornate filigree back with pretty shades of lime and light
turquoise blue, touches of gold and darker greens and cream.  A tiny
rhinestone flower and silver plated chain tassel.  This brooch would
be easy to put a jump ring on to convert to a pendant.

Silver tone lacy vintage style filigree backs a group of wonderful
cream and silver faux pearls.  Beneath is a rhinestone chain finale
that just glistens from the three pear shaped marquises.  This brooch
has a jump ring on it already if you wish to wear it on a necklace.
Measures (with rhinestone chain) 2 1/2" long x 1 1/4" wide.

Gold tone filigree back with a beautiful scalloped framed oval
midnight blue marble cab with gold rose detail and blue
filigree flower off the side.  This brooch can not be made into a

Gold tone flower branches on a pretty silver tone vintage style lacy
filigree that is the back for a new swarovski crystal butterfly that
compliments the vintage yellow rhinestone resin center and light
tangerine resin leaf.  This brooch can be a pendant if you'd like.

Vintage style silver tone scrolled ornate shield shaped filigree.  
Vintage ceramic rose centered silvery rose with beautiful vintage
style green glass leaves.  Vintage clear square, pear and marquise
rhinestones with three rhinestone chain finales.  Measures 2 1/4"

Deep gold tone rectangle, very ornate and vintage style
filigree with vintage gold tone leaves, pale orchid and gold
resin detail and amethyst glass leaves and rhinestone.  A bit
of chain from a Trifari chain necklace is the finale (tag
included).  Measures 2 1/4" wide x 1 1/2" long.

Silver tone triangle shaped ornate filigree, that can be
fashioned with a jump ring and worn as a pendant (let me
know).  Topped with the prettiest vintage pastel baby blue and
gold resin beads, under is a string of Swarovski pastel crystals
(vintage new component) and over a vintage resin pink leaf
and rhinestone disk.  At the bottom hangs a vintage 1" long
brass tassel.   Measures 1 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide.

Vintage style silver tone scrolled ornate shield shaped filigree.  
Vintage cream, white, silvery gray faux pearls border a wonderful
not vintage silver tone rhinestone purse (handle on the purse moves
into any position you desire).  This brooch is already to be worn as
a pendant and includes the vintage silver chain.  Measures 2 1/4"
wide x 1 1/2" long.

Gold tone star shaped vintage style very lacy filigree is done in a
very true red rhinestone with gold tone leaves and is all set to be
worn as a brooch or a necklace.  Vintage gold tone chain still has
the Monet signature tag on it.  Measures 2" x 2".
